 CHILDREN & YOUTH* - Nursery: Apply your compassion and love for children in the nursery and be a blessing in the child’s and parent’s day. - Toddlers, Pre-K and Elementary: Make an investment in a student today and help them learn about God’s unending love in fun and creative ways like teaching, singing, and playing. - Teen Ministry: Awaken a new generation to the glory of God by revealing who God is, connecting students to Jesus Christ and His family, and encouraging students to advance the Kingdom of God in their everyday lives. *A completed background check is required before you can serve with children or students. SUNDAY MORNINGS - Hospitality: We are looking for people to help make the lobby a comfortable place where our members and guests can fellowship together. Put your love for food to good use - help prepare the goodies for Sunday morning! - Communion prep and cleanup: If you want to serve God and your church but like to stay behind the scenes, communion prep and cleanup might be the perfect ministry for you. - Worship Team: Use your gift of music to help others connect to Jesus. - Guest Services: The Guest Services Ministry wants to ensure that our guests and members feel welcomed, valued, and at home when they attend Harvester South. We want them to encounter Christ through our warm welcome, cheerful smiles, and sincere servants' hearts. We can always use volunteers to greet everyone, pass out bulletins, man the Welcome Center desk, and usher individuals to seats. - Offering/Communion: Help serve communion and collect offering during services. - Parking Team: We’d love to see our parking lot full to overflowing for every single service. Join the parking team and you can aid drivers in finding appropriate parking spaces. - Baptistry team: Help HCC South be prepared when someone answers God’s call to baptism. GENERAL MINISTRIES Includes ministry opportunites through the week. - Prayer Ministry: Receive weekly prayer list and commit to pray for the needs of our church, community, and world. - Facilities: Join our team and help take care of the church building. Opportunities to serve include plant care, building cleaning, and making sure the worship center is ready for each service. - First Impressions: Help prepare South Campus for Sunday services so visitors can see why we love our church. - Care Ministry: Use your gift of encouragement to make a lasting impact on someone’s life. Our volunteers walk alongside individuals, couples, and families at their point of need through cards, visits, or by delivering food to families dealing with a sickness, hospitalization, or death in the family. - Events planning team: Do you enjoy planning events of all types? Join our team and have fun while you’re serving God and the church! - Benevolence: Tough times come to everyone. By joining the Benevolence ministry you can be a blessing to those who need assistance. - Office Admin: Volunteer in the office during the week and lighten the load of our pastors and staff. - First Time Guest: Visit HCC South’s first time guests to give them a warm welcome to HCC South! - Small Group host – Host a small group in your home and enjoy the fellowship and bible study that small groups have to offer. TECHNICAL SUPPORT Apply your creative and technical skills in one of the following areas: - Tech Team: If you enjoy working around video and sound equipment, join the tech team and help ensure a successful worship service! - IT: IT help is needed in setting up and maintaining office computers and the network. - Web Team: Help get the word out about Harvester South, join the web team! |
